A social media strategy devised for use across Facebook for the recipe and food content destination.
Great British Chefs is a premium digital publisher providing food lovers with recipes and tips from 100 of Britain’s best chefs. They have organically built up a 500,000-strong community and came to us to shape their social media strategy to grow and engage their audience, and use social media to drive more visits to their website.
Initially we set out to work with their in-house social media team to understand what is working, and what the pain points are regarding social media process, content and delivery. Our core focus was Facebook, and how we could optimise both internal workflow and content output on that channel, to establish what success looks like. Through a monthly ‘test and optimise’ structure we continue to work with the social team to improve their social strategy, and we have a few campaigns planned for later in 2014.
From our first month’s strategy on Facebook:
Total audience engagement increased by 89%
The total number of interactions also increased by 140%
Interaction rate per user increased from 1.5% to 3.5%.
