A mobile app gifting European Samsung customers with a daily treat including free apps, movies and music during the festive season.
Samsung wanted to gift premium entertainment content to a pan-European smartphone and tablet audience throughout the festive season, bringing value to their customers and raising awareness of Samsung’s movie, apps and games offerings.
The campaign needed a creative concept that could be sold in to Samsung’s subsidiary markets as well as creation of final central European consumer facing social media strategy and tactics and regional tool kits that enable our subsidiary markets with a ‘turn key’ campaign solution to promote the campaign locally.
We created, designed and developed the Winter Wonderland app for Android phones and tablets which delivered a new content gift each day for three weeks throughout December. The campaign ran across several European countries, localised accordingly to cater for varying languages and content availability throughout the continent.
Alongside the mobile application, we created a campaign landing page optimised for communicating the proposition and downloading the mobile application.
We also provided European social media teams with campaign strategy, content and creative toolkits for implementation across all markets throughout the campaign.
The campaign helped drive an uplift of Samsung account usage by 40% MoM.
Also drove Samsung smartphone sell-through by 20% MoM.
Over 30% of app conversions were driven through Social media.
