Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that has the possibility to change the world, however at present there is little understanding of how it works or even a general consensus on what the prices of them are, and even where to trade them. Being an agency that has innovation and technology at its heart, we chose to help contribute to the understanding of Bitcoin, by creating an Android application that helps bring clarity to the true value of Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin Stats app represents a shift in the way we view Bitcoin financial data, allowing enthusiasts and investors alike the ability to view and compare the price of Bitcoin over the three main exchanges (Bitstamp, Mt. Gox and BTC-E).  The app does this by tracking the price fluctuations of Bitcoin with updates every 30 seconds and also features a two day data visualistion for comparative purposes.

Key Features Include:

  • Up to date data from the three of the most popular exchanges
  • The ability to track the percentage fluctuations in each market
  • A two-day data visualisation to help you understand the current trading price of Bitcoins
  • The latest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency news from the likes of CoinDesk, Bitcoin Foundation, Coinbase and Cypto Coins News

Other features of the app are key exchange stats such as trade volume and also data on the exchange servers themselves – meaning that you’ll be the first to know if an exchange was experiencing any sort of down time.

As you’d expect the app itself is beautifully designed with special attention paid to an ease of usability, whilst also presenting the data in such a way that it can be understood on multiple levels.

At present the app is in its first stage of release with more updates planned for the near future.

Check out the website here and follow the app on Twitter here.
