Today, Youtube are rolling out their new designs for video channels, giving publishers more control over the organisation and promotion of video content.
The key changes include:
- New header bar with tabs including feed (recent activity on your channel), video (containing all uploads), and a feature tab to display your most important content. There are several template options for how you organise your featured content.
- Prominence is given to promote links to other sites such as Twitter, Facebook and of course Google+
- A channel description box has been added giving a summary of your channel
- Control which tab new visitors will see first
